The Calm before the storm

I've been soaking up the sun and relaxing before the storm. It's not really so much of a storm as it is a big 'ol Engagement Party for my Little Sister!

So before I get into the appi's and salads and all of that good stuff, I'm relaxing with a new magazine.

This is what I found in my mailbox . . . Easy Decorating!!
One room in particular I fell in love with. It totally re-ignited my love of Neutral Rooms!
This room was a lesson in Texture, neutral fabrics, neutral walls and lots of texture! I LOVED IT!
The subway signs, the tree stump side table, the BIG leather ottoman . . . LOVED IT!
Wish me luck, my parents get in to town tomorrow and the crazy preparation starts first thing Friday Morning!

  10. Looks like a great magazine. I had a tree stump end table in my first apartment, after college. It was what I could afford then, because it was Free! But, everyone that saw it loved it and wanted one.
