Brown Pillows

This weekend I made some progress on my Living Room Plan. {If you missed our living room plan you can check it out here.} I sewed up some of my famous envelope pillow covers, (btw anything pinned more than once I declare famous ;)

I found the floral fabric at Fabricland and would you believe that the dark pillow on the right and the light pillow on the left are the same fabric??? The darker color is the "wrong" side of the fabric (I actually prefer it).

I didn't sew the middle pillow it was from Homesense and it was on serious markdown . . . $11.00 that's crazy! It's my new favorite pillow!

and the last picture is my attempt at artsy . . . it didn't really work out but I thought I'd throw it in there!

Next on the Living room list is, one pillow with a little bit of color in it! And some homemade gear artwork . . . assuming I can find gears (I might need some of Lee's help for that).

  1. Ashli, I love the pillows! Great idea using both sides of the fabric. I have found sometimes I prefer the "wrong" side. Gears? Can't wait to see what you are up to.

  2. These are great Ashli!! I agree, great idea to use both sides of the fabric. Great shots for being taken at 1 am. ;) They look a lot better than mine would. The lighting in here at night is so wonky! Doesn't matter what I set the WB, ISO and all that at.

  6. Thanks Girls!!!
Rain- The little green lamps have found their way into the guest room! I thought that the scale was always a bit small for our giant couch and giant side tables! But they fit perfect with the guest room! I'll share pictures soon!

I'm so sorry I have NO idea where the robot prints are from, they were a birthday gift from my sister to Lee over a year ago!
I'm assuming they came from Etsy because she really LOVES etsy!!!
Super good luck finding them, sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

  13. You really should sell your pillows on etsy. I have looked, and the fabrics you use are appealing, and I see few on etsy that have the fabrics/taste of yours ( the same as I would choose if making or buying them). Yours look professional, and tasteful. :)

  14. So fresh and beautiful! And the fact that you would think outside the box, or in this case, the wrong side of the fabric, is, well, genius! Much love, Lisa
